Our 3rd event happened in end of November 2025 in the Vosges, near Fraize. The displayed unit was a Grenadier Kompanie of the 16. Volksgrenadier Division. There was a lot of legwork. But we had a big freedom on the scenario … and the area. Sadly we were limited to a platoon strength.
The accommodation was an empty house that still needed to be cleaned up.
The weather was fantastic, but it presented us with plenty of challenges.
The kitchen did a splendid job.
The accommodation was very friendly and convivial. It also meant the nights weren’t quite so cold.
Without the outstanding performance of our truck driver, the entire event would not have been possible.
Also the infantry had a lot of fun.
