Unfortunately, we have to withdraw from co-organising the event.
We have thought long and hard about this decision and, in our opinion, we unfortunately had no other choice.
The way the local organisation works is simply too different from ours.
Therefore, it would not be possible for us to offer you an event in the manner you have come to expect from us.
This was a pragmatic decision, not an emotional one.
If we had had the opportunity, we would have liked to have made it an event like Hotton or Vogesen.
Nevertheless, we wish the event and the organisers all the best.

The planning for the event is just starting, but we can spread a few information.
A Registration Survey will be send in Dezember to all who had participated in previous events. If that doesn’t include you and you want to participate … just contact us.
For this event, we will be only in a supportive role for the german side.
We are not responsible for the finances and are only tactical co-organizer of the german side.
Nevertheless, we will organize and lead the non french Zug and fill in lots of the funktions in the Gefechtsstand.
The event will be about the Höhe 108 north of Saint-Lo, also called the “purple heart hill”. The talk is about a 5 x 4 km (+) fighting area. And it will be in the first days of July 2026.
The displayed unit will be the KG 353d.
This Kampfgruppe consisted of:
– Stab des Grenadierregiments 942
– II. Bataillon des Grenadierregiments 943
– Füsilierbataillon 353
